The Galapagos Islands Website
Project Description:
This was a project that everyone in IMD110 had to do. We were given 4 sections of text from Wikipedia and some data to create a table. The instructor then told us to make a website about the Galapagos Islands using or own pictures logos and any other content we wanted to use. The website had to be a liquid layout as well.
I decided to incorporate videos about the Islands I found on YouTube, a Google map plug-in, and a lytebox image viewer Dr. Dempski told me about. I used a very cool and serene color scheme to give the sight a relaxing feel. All of the pictures came from http://www.sxc.hu/ and are free and legal to use even for professional work.
